I cannot say enough about how great UD is. I had a couple of professors who became my mentors that I still keep in touch with, 10 years after graduating. I also was able to get a job 2 months after graduating with my Bachelors degree, during the recession in 2009. I still work at the same place, and ha e advanced in my career, thanks to my background at UD. Im so thankful I went there, and highly recommend.

University of Delaware is a large institution with the ability to give students a small, community feel. The resources offered by the university to get involved will shape a student's experience while at UD. Joining clubs, sports, councils, or other groups will give you lifelong friendships and connections. The academic programs at UD have a strong reputation and a great career outlook. I loved my time at UD and would recommend this college experience.

I really loved the University of Delaware. I had a great experience, especially with the UD Honors program. They fully funded 2 of my extra opportunities I pursued in the summer months. Living in the UD Honors Program housing was a highlight of the experience as well. While at school, I completed three internships, studied abroad, was involved in the theater club, and was a Resident Assistant. I fully took advantage of all opportunities. Delaware makes it really easy to double major and to minor.... Read More

I loved my four years at the University of Delaware. I majored in Nursing, was a University Cheerleader and Ambassador for Social Media. The campus is beautiful during each season and the "green" can be filled with students hanging out all year long. You can get involved in as many or as little school activities as you would like. The food was better than some of my friends schools and the choices are given to appeal to every and any diet requirement. One of my favorites, was breakfast for dinner.... Read More

The University of Delaware provides a top-tier, well-rounded educational experience. As an out-of-state student, there was a great support system for me as a freshman living on campus. The quality of instruction by professors was unparalleled. Diversity was also a priority, as there were many opportunities for students to become involved in diverse programming. Overall, the education I earned there has prepared me well for my career.

I attended the University of Delaware because the professors shared many of my research interests. As a result, I have had a program that was rigorous and rewarding. Parts of my degree program were required by the University, but much of it was tailored specifically to my research interests. I believe this program has prepared me for a position as a univeristy faculty at an institution with a high research emphasis.

University of Delaware was a really great school for someone who was extremely lost at 18 years-old. The first thing that I learned was to embrace diversity. I also learned at University of Delaware that I could become anything that I put my mind to. I first started off thinking that I wanted to be a social worker. University of Delaware has a great faculty with regards to their Individual Family Studies Program, but by the time I was reaching my senior year, I realized that I had a much stronger... Read More

I enjoyed my time at the University of Delaware. I entered as a freshman not knowing what I wanted to study or what career I wanted to pursue. I am extremely lucky that what I ended up wanting to study was an option at UD. Many undergraduate programs do not offer speech and language pathology programs, but UD does. I enjoyed the professors in the program as well as the opportunities for research and jobs in the area. Being that it is such a large school however, as a student, you need to reach out... Read More

I had a very pleasant experience at the University of Delaware. There are many things that I liked about the University but I will start with the things I did not like. The first thing is that at times you can feel like you dont belong until you find a club/activity that resonates with you. The school really does offer a lot of different clubs/ experiences but at times it can be overwhelming. I really did not feel extremely at home until my Junior Year when I joined a club sports team. Another thing... Read More

The University of Delaware was everything i could have dreamed of. Coming from out of state as a community college transfer i was nervous at first to join a place so new, and so big. My advise to students looking at UD is to take class seriously. The University really does give you opportunities to set a career path, But it is up to you to take those opportunists and run with them. i would strongly recommend UD to anyone looking.

University of Delaware was highlighted for me for the atmosphere and environment. The campus provided a combination of a small town but also the college campus life I was looking for. In terms of the Bachelors of Science degree I received, I thought it provided the challenge I was looking for and also the assistance and guidance students appreciate from good standing relationships with professors. I would recommend this University to undergraduate students looking for an effective but also gratifying... Read More

I am currently in the University of Delaware's inaugural class for an MA in Speech-Language Pathology. The classes are great and are taught by people who are very knowledgable in the field (many board certified specialists), and the on-site speech-language and hearing clinic is gorgeous and provides ample opportunity to observe fellow classmates' therapy sessions as well as a safe spot to practice therapy before going to external placements. Considering that UD's Physical Therapy is ranked #1 in... Read More
