Media personality Kamene Goro has urged women in their 20s to date multiple men, insisting that early adulthood is a time for self-discovery, not premature commitment.
Her remarks, made during a live radio broadcast, ignited strong reactions, with many questioning her views.
"Hey girl," Kamene said. "When you are in your early 20s, don’t limit yourself to just one person. The one you believe is your true love might not be. Go out there and experiment. If you want to date three at the same time, do it."

But Kamene believes her message was misunderstood. She clarified that she wasn’t promoting recklessness, but rather encouraging young women to explore their options before settling down.
“How can you know what you really like if you’ve only been in one relationship?” she asked. “If you’ve only kissed one frog, how will you know what you like or don’t like in a partner?”
Kamene urged women not to fall into the trap of believing they must find ‘the one’ too early. She argued that dating different people isn’t just about love—it’s a vital part of learning about oneself.
“Go out with more than one person at a time,” she reiterated. “Don’t limit yourself to one relationship. Your younger years are meant for learning and growing, and experiences are the best teachers.”
From looks to lifestyle, Kamene encouraged embracing variety. “Date a guy with dreads, date a light-skinned man, a tall man... you know,” she said, stressing that trying out different personalities and appearances can help one understand what truly resonates.
Challenging the pressure to settle down early, Kamene concluded, “When you’re young, it’s normal to fall in love more than once. So why stop yourself from having those experiences by committing too soon?”
